Description
160gsm 100% polyester knit with an open, porous structure built for airflow. The honeycomb-like construction lets heat and moisture escape far more readily than a solid knit, which is why mesh shows up as ventilation panels under arms and across the back on performance garments. At 160gsm this runs somewhat heavier than the lightest athletic meshes (typically 80 to 130gsm), giving it more durability and a firmer hand, useful where the mesh needs to hold its own rather than just serve as a sheer insert. No spandex, so stretch comes from the knit structure itself rather than added elastane. Sold plain by the metre in natural white, ready for jersey panels, linings, and ventilation inserts, or as the base for your own printed run.
